Japanese Department Store has a “F*ckin’ Sale”!

An Osaka, Japan department store called Gallerie made the mistake of calling one of their sales a “F*ckin’ Sale”. Once Gallerie realized their offensive, yet hilarious mistake when the signs went viral, they immediately took them down and apologized. Apparently Gallerie understood the meaning of “F*ckin sale” as “lucky bags”. It’s a tradition in Japan that after New Years retailers will put their overstock from the prior year into large grab bags to be sold at a discount. Even though it was a mistake, it’s a hilarious marketing move if you ask us!
